Lunn Healthcare Facilities was commissioned to expand the medical centre, which is now four times its original size.
The original building was demolished and the new build two-storey premises now occupy 883m2. Facilities include consultation rooms, staff room, treatment rooms, surgery units, nurses’ rooms, a training room, primary care trust offices, library and a pharmacy. Consideration was given to disabled assistance and confidentiality sections.
